Wednesday morning, four people in separate cars were killed after separate collisions with a tractor trailer. A 1996 Toyota lost control and crossed the center line striking the semitrailer truck. The truck then cross over the line and hit a oncoming minivan. The driver of the Toyota was killed, as was the driver and two teenage passengers in the minivan. Investigation continues as to the contributing factors.
Sorrow goes out for all of the families involved. These numbers are particularly unfortunate considering that overall the number of highway deaths has been down for 2009. The issues of speed are being looked at.
As with any death in a Minnesota motor vehicle collision, there are a number of issues that will need to be reviewed. Hopefully, the families and friends of all involved will find comfort and solace.

After hearing the news about this accident i fell down and cried i am a family member of christi, bambi, and soubinh khemphomma. This whole situation has caused us so much heart ache that even some of our family members wanna end life themselves i dont know if any of us are ever going to get over this they were totally innocent just driving home after having such a fun summer vacation and all of a sudden a semi rams into them killing them. They will be missed and rememered we miss them so much and at times like these tensions are high everyone is down each others throats this situation is tearing our family into pieces

Wow, you and your family have our condolences. There is a book out there called The Bereaved Parent which is a must read after the loss of a child. I hope you and the rest of the family have support as you deal with these troubled times.
