Two Semi Collisions Kill Four In Southern Minnesota

Watching the death trends on Minnesota highways it is always a concern when there are multiple collisions that happen. Clearly, any death is tragic, but when there are the string of teen deaths and recurring collisions of any type the public needs to take notice.

• Two people died when semis collied on Minnesota Highway 7, just east of Cosmos. A dual trailers is reported as having hit another tractor-trailer who crossed the center line. The impact caused both trucks to crash into a ditch on opposite sides of the highway. A passenger car also became involved.
• In Swift county, two teenagers were killed when their car hit a semi. The collision is still under investigation.

Sorrow goes out for all of the families and friends of those involved.
