It Was a Safe Fourth of July on Minnesota Roads

Comments Off

The reports are in and it looks like the midweek Fourth of July turned out to be a very safe one. Usually, it is one of the deadliest days on Minnesota roads, instead this year saw everyone getting home alive. As Kare11 reported past Fourths have not been as safe:

During the same travel periods from 2009 to 2011, there were 21 traffic deaths and 1,536 DWI arrests. The DPS says 14 of those deaths were a result of alcohol-impaired crashes.
