Saturday afternoon, a 2 year old was hit and killed as he crossed a road in Glyndon. A father and son had been riding a four wheeler, when the father stopped to talk to a passing driver, the little boy went across the street to play in the ditch. The boy was running back to his father when he was struck by another vehicle on the road. Sorrow goes out to the boy’s family for their tragic loss.

For the toddler’s burial , there will be some no fault benefits as a resident relative from his home or if there is no coverage, from the No Fault of the involved car. If there is no coverage on the car, the bills would then go to the assign claims bureau for coverage.

Beyond No Fault , the question of liability concerning the cars actions and anything else may need to determined. Early investigation may be necessary to make these determinations. As Steve Lombardi has pointed out, these type of incidents are so sad they no one wants to ever talk about them, but hopefully they will be used to prevent this type of thing from happening again.
