This week, The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Target Corp., of Minneapolis, Minn. recalled 51.00 Circo Aloma Infant Girls Sandals. The decorative plastic flowers can detach, posing a choking hazard to the child.

The recalled infant girls sandals are white with decorative plastic flowers attached to the toes and sides. The sandals were sold under the style name "Aloma" in infant girls’ sizes 2 through 5. "Circo" is printed on the inside and bottom of the shoe. They were sold at Target stores nationwide and on the Web at www.target.com from January 2011 to May 2011 for about $10. They were made in d China.

Consumers should immediately stop using the product and return them to any Target store for a full refund. Target can be contacted at (800) 440-0680 or through the firm’s website at www.target.com.
