Saturday night, a driver and passanger of a motorcycle were killed when they were hit by a car. The collision took place on the Highway 12 detour in Delano at the intersection of River Street and Franklin Avenue.
The deaths came just after the recent Minnesota Department of Transportation report that states while overall deaths from motor vehicle accidents are down, the number of deaths involving motorcycles has risen.
As with any death in a Minnesota motor vehicle collision, there are a number of issues that will need to be reviewed.
