William Mitchell announced that it will expand its child protection program by creating a partnership with the National Child Protection Training Center in order to provide expanded education, prevention, and advocacy programs to end child abuse, neglect, and other forms of child maltreatment. This expansion will include William Mitchell hosting an annual conference on child maltreatment for law professors, practicing attorneys, students, public policy makers, and child protection professionals and filing amicus briefs in federal and state appellate courts on child protection issues.
This is great news, not only for those who are survivors, but for the students of the school who will be at the ground floor of learning how to better protect each child.
