The Minnesota State Patrol is announcing ahead of time that they will have extra DWI patrols on the road for game-day. According to the state patrol, during Super Bowl weekends 2007-2009, Minnesota law enforcement arrested 1,405 drivers for DWI. During that same period, there were 1,804 motor vehicle accidents.
We see the tragedy that results from cases when drunk drivers are on the road. Make sure you aren’t one of them. Here’s to a safer and fun Super Bowl Sunday.
