This weekend has looked to be a sad one on Minnesota roads. The icy roads in combination with speed, no seat belts and drinking has killed and injured too many Minnesotans.
- Saturday night a Pine City couple were killed in a head-on collision with a drunk driver on Highway 70 in Rock Creek.
- Saturday morning, eight people were hospitalized, when a van roll over on Highway 23 in Kandiyohi County. One of the passenger, was thrown from the vehicle and is seriously injured at Rice Memorial Hospital .
- Friday morning, two teenagers hit head on Highway 60 near Fairbault. One of them was killed and three others were injured.
As with any death in a Minnesota motor vehicle collision, there are many issues that will need to be reviewed. My partner, Joe Crumley, addressed this topic in a recent article for the Minnesota Lawyers Trial magazine. I was interviewed last year on the same topic. Sympathy goes out to all of those that were hurt and to the family and friends of those that were killed.
