The final numbers from the Department of Public Safety (DPS) show that 2011 Minnesota highway deaths were at a record low. The state's death count was 368 deaths on Minnesota roads last year, the lowest annual figure since 1944 when 356 people were killed..
Unfortunately, these numbers would be a lot better if it wasn't for the 43 deaths in July and the 13 in the first week of August. It is of great concern that a 5 week period made up such a large part of all the yearly deaths.
With any death in a Minnesota motor vehicle collision, there are a number of issues that will need to be reviewed. My partner, Joe Crumley, addressed this topic in a recent article for the Minnesota Lawyers Trial magazine and I was interviewed last year on the same topic
A founding partner with Bradshaw & Bryant, Mike Bryant has always fought to find justice for his clients—knowing that legal troubles, both personal injury and criminal, can be devastating for a family. Voted a Top 40 Personal Injury "Super Lawyer" multiple years, Mr. Bryant has also been voted one of the Top 100 Minnesota "Super Lawyers" four times.
