Thursday night, three teenage high school football players driving to a female high school volleyball game were involved in a rollover accident right outside of Sanborn, Minnesota. Initial reports indicate that the driver became distracted, lost control on a gravel road, the car flipped, and landed in a steep ditch.
One of the passengers was thrown from the car. He was air lifted to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale, but died this morning. In his memory, his team forfeited their Friday night game. Such a loss is felt by his family and by his whole community.
