Friday afternoon, a Reverend and his wife were killed when that hit a semi at the intersection of Hwys. 212 and 22 near Glencoe. Investigation by the Minnesota State Patrol continues as to what happened.
Sorrow goes out to their family and friends. I am sure that there are many parishioners that will feel the loss. With the recently released lower numbers concerning highway deaths in 2009 any death is still very sad. The deaths did take place on a rural highway that is continuing to be a concern for Department of Public Safety (MDPS).
