In early December, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission issued a warning on Groovy Fashions™ Sassy Jammies™ Doll Clothing Sets sold by Manhattan Group, of Minneapolis, Minn. Consumers should take the clothes away immediately. Surface paints on the pajama pants contain excessive levels of lead, which violates the federal lead paint standard.

The clothes doll clothing set features a two-piece

pajama

set, eye mask and

slippers

. The pajama top is pink satin and the pants are dark brown with multi-colored flowers printed on them. They were sold though mail order, Internet and specialty gift stores nationwide from January 2008 through October 2008 and made in China.
