It is not unusual for someone to call our office and after talking to them giving them the advice that conciliation court  may be the best place for their case.  It's usually, because it would be faster,  the amount to recover is limited,  and the issues involved are relatively  legally simple.

For those looking to this option the top limits are going up affective July 1st:

from $7,500 To $10,000 effective 7/1/12

from $10,000 to $15,000 effective 7/1/14

It expected that the increase will give individuals more flexibility in bringing their claims.
