The sun is strong and we are seeing more pavement, but another night of snow made for bad road conditions around Minnesota. I saw more cars in the ditch and a number of collisions as I traveled.
So please SLOW DOWN.
Some examples from today include:
– In St Cloud, a truck driver was in critical condition after losing control on Highway 15 and hitting a pole on the northeast corner of Highway 15 and Third Street North.
– In Blue Earth County, the driver of a that 2004 Ford F-150 was killed on Highway 14 and Highway 60 when he lost control and rolled the vehicle.
– A Monticello man was seriously injured on Wright County Road 134 after he lost control on icy roads and struck a pickup traveling west on Highway 55, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Hopefully, increased police presence and discussion about this incidents will slow some people down and save some lives over the next couple of days.
