Austin, the biggest city in the county , did not have any traffic fatalities in 2009 and saw 301 motor-vehicle crashes overall with injuries to 100 people.  In 2008, Austin had one traffic fatality and 395 motor-vehicle crashes overall, with 94 people injured.
