Friday morning , three University of Minnesota students were injured by a car that drove away. The one of the University of Minnesota student was critically injured. The hit-and-run driver was going the wrong way, on the one-way, SE. 5th Street near the University of Minnesota near 12th Avenue at about 2 a.m.

A 29-year-old Roseville man, fresh off probation from a drunken-driving conviction, has been arrested on suspicion of driving on a sidewalk last week near the University of Minnesota and killing one of three students he ran over before driving away, police said Friday.
The man was apprehended Thursday afternoon, a few hours after the death of hit-and-run victim Ben Van Handel, 23, of Appleton, Wis. The suspect remains in the Hennepin County jail without bail "pending murder charges," said Police Sgt. Stephen McCarty.
The driver was taken into custody without resistance "at his place of business" in the Twin Cities, McCarty said, adding that police were led to him thanks to "witness accounts and tips."
The car is believed to be a 2000s, white, four-door Toyota Camry or Solara with front-end damage.
Anyone with information should contact the Minneapolis Police. Hopefully, the driver will be found and that each of the students will heal up.
