The new numbers are out and Minnesota has dropped one and is now 27th nationally in cost of automobile insurance. Why is that important? Because I keep hearing from the insurance talking heads that Minnesota:

  • That rates are out of control.
  • That no fault is killing the consumer.
  • That fraud is all over the place.

They always say these things with no support. At best, they speak of broad conspiracy that would make the writers of the X Files blush.
