I try to keep up with the goings on as clients head to Sturgis for the annual motorcycle get together.   I was concerned to hear that there have already been 13 deaths this year.  Hopefully the word will get out and everyone will work on a safer ride back.  The way to do this:

Is to watch your speed

For bikes and cars to start seeing each other

For riders to be well trained and safety conscience

And no drinking, texting, or talking on the phone while driving.

Minnesota has already seen 44 deaths this year,  which is 2 less than all of last year.  So hopefully all Minnesota riders will take heed and watch out.

I was sorry to hear that motorcycle deaths are also up in Nebraska.

As an attorney who has represented a large number of riders, I’ve seen the devastation caused by car/bike collisions. As with any highway death, there are a number of issues that will need to be reviewed. My partner, Joe Crumley, addressed this topic in a article for the Minnesota Lawyers Trial magazine. I was interviewed on the same topic.
