Monday evening a St Cloud women was hit while crossing a local road. She was crossing the road at about 7 p.m. at the intersection of Northway Drive and Ninth Avenue North. Investigations are on going as to what happened.  A second woman was hit when crossing Wilson Avenue Southeast at First Street Southeast.

For a pedestrian, they will be covered for no fault benefits under their own policy, as a resident relative who has coverage in their home or if they have no coverage, by the No Fault from the car they were hit by. If there is no coverage on the car, the bills may then go to the assign claims bureau for coverage.

Beyond No Fault , the question of liability concerning the cars actions and those of the pedestrian will need to determined. Early investigation may be necessary to make these determinations.
