The charts require a little bit of digesting. But it is worth the time to look at and discuss the finding that the Huffington Press recently published concerning texting vs drinking when driving:

Twice as likely seems like a lot. I would wonder if a short amount of texting vs being drunk for the whole trip would make a difference? But, as we have seen so many times, the collisions happen fast.

The time doesn’t seem to work the way some would think. So it’s a good thing that states are looking at the issue and making the roads safer:

It looks like legislation that more states should be looking at.
