Late last week a young boy was killed on Highway 10 in St Cloud Minnesota. The boy was being pulled by a bicycle. He was in a bike trailer at the time. Apparently while trying to cross the highway the trailer was hit by an on coming car. This tragedy calls out for prayers for the boys family and all of those involved. Donations can be sent to the Rylee Gordon Fund at any TCF Bank.
Such cases point out the need for cars to watch out for bikes, as gas prices drive more riders to the road and for all riders to make sure they follow the rules of the road.
These cases also are examples of the uses of the Minnesota No Fault Law. Coverage for No Fault benefits would come from either a policy where the bike rider was covered or from the car involved. This would be the case no matter how the fault was determined.
