I had Professor Jones as a Professor, a number of years ago. He was such a font of knowledge about criminal procedure and dealing with the importance of every individual’s rights. Back then, I had no idea I would be doing any criminal work. I was interning for a personal injury firm, and other than looking for any job out there, expected PI was my future.

I still have the book I used in his class and the one which he wrote and I did some cite checking in. I thank him for the interests and the caring that he passed on to me. Beyond the trial skills I learned at William Mitchell, he was one of the handful of educators that also helped me develop a theoretical side.
