There is awesome medical innovation going on out in the world. Here are a couple of stories I came upon recently:
– Doctors at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center have performed the first successful hand transplant in the state of California. The first hand transplant was performed in France in 1998. Since then, more than 40 hand transplants have been done around the world.
– There has been a full face transplant at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.
– Bone marrow is being replaced with a persons stem cell’ s too help patients with aggressive forms of multiple sclerosis.
– Diabetes continues to be an expanding research topic as they look at strategic plans for treatment, improvement in early testing, and early treatment.
– They are looking at the reduced US Tuberculosis rates to see what can be done to reduce the overall incidences in the world.

There continues to be a lot of great examples out there even Midnight the mini horse as he runs like just any other horse.
