It’s time for another outrageous email from the U S Chamber. This one starts with :
Why are the trial lawyers trying to destroy one of the bright spots of Minnesota’s economy — our state’s fair and balanced legal system?
The email punch line is:
That is why it’s so troubling that the trial lawyers (and their allies in the state legislature) are plotting to pass new laws that would make it easier for them to sue Washington’s employers.
What? Could this just be the same email that they sent out in Washington and forgot to change the name of the state?
While I think it would be foolish to really guess what happened here, it seems like each of their emails contain this kind of nonsense. Especially when you see that Minnesota civil filings are down and the state continues to rank high as a state to do business in.
