The Vatican Needs to Take Zero Tolerance to Heart

There is a lot of news about the Vatican concerning what is being done to eliminate pedophiles and provide justice to those who have been harmed. At times members of the Church hierarchy seem to be saying the right things, but at other times it seems to just be more false promises from the church leadership.

There was a very disturbing story concerning tapes that seemed to be 51-year-old Father Riccardo Seppia, a priest in the archdiocese of Genoa Archbishop Angelo Bagnasco, who is the head of the Italian Bishops Conference. That’s the group who is working on church reforms. The tapes have the priest allegedly saying:

"I do not want 16-year-old boys but younger,………" "Fourteen-year-olds are O.K. Look for needy boys who have family issues."

The US Bishop Conference produced a report in May. The report was touted as an explanation of why these horrible incidents happened. They concluded that it was poor training and was a product of the times. Which makes you wonder why did it go on past the 60s and 70s and is in fact still going on today.

Did they really need training to not harm innocent children? No they needed training on how to respond. They needed to use the zero tolerance doctrine to shine light one what happened and to insure that it would never happen again. They needed to not move priests around and to quit putting them in situations that allowed great access to kids. They needed to stop hiding.

Abuse of children and the continued silence by the offenders needs to be prevented. If you suffered, saw, or suspected such events, it is important to know that there is help out there.

I am in my 82nd yr. and have been happily out of the RCC for 10 yrs.

I am so repulsed, sickened and completely flabergasted that the people who have been churched by these b-s-ar-s, generation after generation, are still listening to this evil group of men and women,, after hearing the truth for 10 yrs and the RCC doing nothing and a statement like this to even be published, is so astonshingly brazen…but the Devil is brazen!!! Is he not?

I have been blogging for all of the 10 yrs. I find the inteligent people, with minds that follow in the footsteps of Christ, are leaving this evil place in droves.

I can’t imagine there is one left that would buy this BS from these b-st-r-ds, but there are.

The priests and nuns take advantage of the unsuspecting childern, marginalized and handicapped. But why, supposed intelligent adults buy their hideious Crimes Against Humanity, when they are Our most vunerable, our cherished young?

They are taken advantage of again and again by this so called “religious”community. It is the most unbelievable sin Agaist Humanity. It is, in MHO, the Unforgiveable sin. The sin against the holy Spirit.

Get out while you still have your soul. If not you are “aiding and abetting” the eil that they o.

When the men who recruit and enable child rape and molestation are the same men who write and perform religious ritual on altars, you can be certain it is past time to take them to task. When these are the very same men who are the keepers of the village secrets known as the confessional, it gets worse again. Jesus of Nazareth gave us only two commandments, neither of which had anything to do with this organization.
